Blind Submission
As an avid reader myself, a book about reading, readers, writers, publishing seemed right up my alley. But by the end this book really annoyed me. The characters are caricatures. The idea that anyone would continue to work in this office environment and yet turn out to be this hotshot business person in the end is ludicrous and I lost any and all sympathy for Angel by the last 100 pages of the book. She was a dishrag, a doormat, and a doofus and I'm glad I don't have to read about her anymore.

Good to know!
But..she sounds like what I and others were turned into at IBM after being beaten down by a corrupt system that we didn't understand. :-(
