A bit predictable, and I'm getting tired of the old person remembering their young life way of telling stories, especially when some younger relative would be "shocked" to learn Granny's true story. But all in all a nice novel of a dying way of life in terms of an upstairs/downstairs county family in England segueing into the modern 20th century.
